Inside Sales Respresentative
Assist Outside Sales Representatives (Account Executives) in maintaining the day to day aspects of their account business. Inside reps make it possible for the outside reps to be out of the office looking for new business and visiting customers. They must work as a team to make sure customer's needs are met and customer satisfaction is high.
Job Responsibilities:
- Answer calls from customers
- Enter quotes/place order/follow up on order from start to delivery
- Assist with proposal creation, configurations/deal with distributors and manufacturers
- Warm calling into existing customers/cold calling on leads
- May attend customer appointments with outside reps
- Conduct various prospecting activities, including telemarketing, cold calling, lead referrals, etc. in sufficient volume to ensure that sales targets are met
- Enter service calls and follow up
- Enter Quote Tracking System engineering requests
- Follow the Accounts Receivable Aging Report and manage customers payments to keep credit available in their credit limit
- Follow up with Purchasing on order placement
- Watch open orders to make sure orders are billing in a timely manner
- Manage the backlog and watch invoicing for the month.
Job Knowledge/Skills:
- Knowledge of computers/networking and the manufacturers we deal with is a plus
- Excellent communication/phone skills is a must
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task is a must
- Must be a team player with a "can-do" attitude
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products is a must.
- 4 year degree is preferred
- IT Industry related experience is a plus
- Customer service experience or sales experience is a plus.
